Magic, Please!

We have entered the month where we historically tend to get fixated on love; romantic love, self-love, or just let’s love everyone. These are valuable elements in life but what we think we most need in February 2022 in the millionth day of this pandemic experience is magic.

Our hearts, our psyches, our mental health is most in need of glimmers of goodness, sparkles of joy; in essence – magic! The last two years have drubbed us enough into being realistic. We aren’t talking whisking off to some far-flung locale. We are keeping our expectations for magic around the neighborhood of a limbo stick. You know, low.

Loving This!

This post about what I am loving right now is a two-for-one because you get a little life hack as well as someone new to follow. So, the life hack I love is a jewelry cleaner. I know, first lip balm and now a jewelry cleaner. You might be thinking we can only go up from here.

Big Magic: Revisited

This month in the spirit of embracing magic, we are throwing back to a book we read when it first arrived on the scene in 2016. Then, not surprisingly, Lowi and I were both inspired to pick it back up again separately in late 2021. It landed in new ways for both of us this time.

“Books are a uniquely portable magic.”

~ Stephen King, On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft

A Look Back … and forward

This week, we are going way back! Lowi has news to share about her latest adventure even if she may have mixed feelings about it. We’ll give you one hint: Outrun! This is also our opportunity to introduce you to a new page on the site that we’ll be sharing with you all things health, wellness, meditation, and the like.
