Today, friends we are all-in when it comes to Being For Grace. It’s been a long year. It’s been a brutally long election cycle. Currently it’s an even longer vote count. And you know what? That’s just how it is.

So we are Being For Grace. We are giving grace to ourselves for being tired. We are giving grace to others for being short-tempered. We are giving grace for the nonsense that we or they post on social media when they (or we) were under the influence of #election2020 while still in some sort of weird relationship with #pandemic2020
Let’s give it all some grace and some space. Log off your respective feeds, turn off the news for at least 2-3 hours a day and drink some water, take a walk. If you are really feeling adventurous: laugh!
Times are tough and there are many wounds to heal. Let us be clear. Plus there is always room for a chuckle. Maybe it’s a little chuckle or maybe it’s a laugh till you cry so you don’t cry, either way it’s a win. We are not in control of the current situation, or frankly, anything else in this life. But we can inject a little levity here and there.
If someone says something that really lights you up, unless it genuinely requires a response from you, maybe you give it a pass. Maybe you offer up a little grace.
If you say something you wished you hadn’t, give yourself grace. Then, take your medicine and apologize.
That is all.
