I’ll let you in on a little secret, it’s probably not really a secret, but Lowi and I would write this blog even if nobody read it. It’s true and I can prove it because there have been days when nobody read it 🙂
We want to reach out, meet new people, stay in touch with those we already know, let you know that you’re not alone and also, if possible, entertain. Selfishly, it is about connecting with each other.

If you are new the scene, Lowi and I live in different states and, sometimes, orchestrate our blog entirely via text, email and maybe don’t have a live conversation for days or weeks. It sometimes feels like we’re on the other side of the world from each other.

After many years talking of doing “something” together we finally got into gear in late 2013 and this is the culmination.

We’d love our blog to go viral, to see everyone on the street wearing Lowi & G apparel, drinking from their L&G mugs and for #Sunshine&Sarcasm to be all over BUT that may never happen.

And that’s OK. It’s not entirely OK but I will get through it.

However, more importantly, this is a project we are doing together that lets us feel like we are making a difference and being heard.
It lets us feel connected even through all these miles between us.

You can imagine our delight when Lowi received a text from a dear friend who said she too feels connected when reading our blog. She’s known our family for well… forever, so she’s got a little bit of the inside track in knowing all the players.
We hope whether you know us or not, or only one half of the team, that you feel connected too.
