Not quite two years ago we launched this blog with the hopes of sharing our stories and making someone laugh.
And while for the most part Lowi & G is buried treasure on the internet, we’ve hit paydirt with one little delightful gem of a story that occurred so many years ago that the duo that is Lowi & G was just barely born and making sisterly bonds.

It was July 1976.

Lori and I were in a holiday parade and costume competition and let’s just say that Lowi still recalls it as a low point. I, being 2, don’t recall it at all!

So when our mom came over during the July 4th weekend, clutching this in her hand, I knew it was trouble.

She insisted we, meaning me, post it to Facebook.
And as you can see the gift keeps on giving.
Honestly, I think Lowi looks sweet — I’m not sure that’s how she’d describe it.
