L&G Morsels… these items are delish

L&G Morsels

A new feature of Lowi & G in 2014 is our Friday installment of things we are “in love” with at the moment. Check in every Friday for L&G Morsels.

As you may or may not know, we are super lovers of books. Our latest obsessions are “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green (Lowi) and “The Desire Map” by Danielle LaPorte (G).

We are also fans of all things food. For months I have been hooked on avocado toast for breakfast. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Toast up your favorite bread and add a little lovely avocado on top with a dash of sea salt. Done and enjoy!

This isn’t exactly, food, but warm lemon water with a little hint of cayenne pepper is part of my morning routine (G).  I know this sounds crazy but this is a great kick start to the day. It’s an awesome detoxifier, boost of vitamin C and potassium. If you need more reasons to try it, click here.

And finally, but certainly not last, on our list is our LOVE, and I do mean LOVE, for LUSH. If you have not yet been introduced to LUSH, let us be the first to welcome you to the land of lotions, bath bombs etc with a conscience. Lowi is digging on Karma Kream while I am having my own little love affair with Sympathy for the Skin.

That’s it for today! Please let us know what your love morsels are in the comments and let us know if you try out any of our latest obsessions.

  1. Got some LUSH for Christmas and I can’t bring myself to use it (bath bomb). It smells SO good I want to save it!

I, too am hooked on avocado toast! Lately I’ve been eating it on whole wheat English muffins, good stuff. And actually this week I’ve started drinking warm lemon water, no cayenne though, can you taste it much? It’s actually kind of refreshing, as strange as that sounds.

G, here! Yes, you can taste the cayenne but I just put a dash in. It really heats you up and makes me feel like I am jump starting my system for the day. I think the lemon water is refreshing as well. I really can’t imagine not drinking it every morning at this point. So glad to hear I have a fellow avocado toast junkie.
