Our second week into 100 days of happiness and all the regular things are still keeping us happy. Well, that and Lowi brought home a new puppy. That’s a little irregular.

Given the events of the last several days we’ve been reminded, sadly, that life is even more fragile than we ever imagined. We are further compelled to embrace the goodness of life. There is plenty to draw in and to savor.

We certainly don’t know the answers to solving gun violence, terrorism or hate crimes. But we do know that finding happiness, sharing kindness and valuing each other matters. If you do nothing else over these next 100 days let it be a reminder to be kind, be open-minded and to be love whenever you can.
