Lowi and I have been cleaning, purging, getting rid of unnecessary stuff for months. You’d think we’d be done by now, frankly. And yet we have this “friendly” battle over a pair of pants and T-shirt. First world problems for sure. Then after I tell you this next little tale you might start to think I have a real problem keeping track of my clothes.
This loss of clothing, albeit temporary, came about through an act of kindness, if I do say so myself.
John and I were getting a new washer and dryer and I asked my younger sister if she wanted our old set. They both still worked well and she said she did. Everyone wins. I get rid of the old set and she doesn’t have to buy new.

Our new washer and dryer were delivered and the delivery team was kind enough to take the others to the garage. The set was in the garage for a few weeks before our Dad dropped them off at my sister’s house.
A couple hours later I get a call from my sister.
“Your dryer is full of clean clothes?!”
Oops. It seems we gifted her a washer, dryer and a laundry basket full of clean clothes. You would think I would’ve noticed clothes were missing. Especially when I got them back I was saying “I wondered wear those pants were!”
Thankfully, we gave the washer and dryer to my sister or I would’ve donated a lot more than I had planned.
