Today, we begin our second 100 day journey of finding happiness.
It isn’t about digging through our lives and filtering out the bad and the ugly, but finding joy in the midst of everyday. Some days are easy and joy is just sitting on our doorstep waiting to be discovered. Other days we haven’t slept, we have a sick kid, the house is a mess, we are behind on work, the bills are due and we are just plain grumpy. These are the days that happiness really does become a choice. These are the days that matter. These are the days that our true character shows through. We have to ask ourselves what really matters in life and be grateful. Gratitude is the key.
“In daily life we must see that it is not happiness that makes us grateful, but gratefulness that makes us happy.” ~Brother David Steindl-Ras
Some of you may still be waffling about committing to 100 days because it sounds too long, boring or frivolous. Whatever your reason, we encourage you to do it for YOURSELF. Take this journey and see what happens. What do you have to lose?
Buckle up because the next 100 days could be the most life-changing days of your life.
