I am a believer in signs and many of you might be as well. Sometimes, though, I judge where my signs come from as if they need to always be high-brow or impressive in some way.
This week while perusing Instagram… I know, see I already warned you this is going to be low-class medium, high-class message.
As I was saying, before I interrupted myself, while perusing Instagram earlier this week I came across a post from @laurenfenech.
First of all, I am always on the hunt for the perfect location, quote and/or image for a tattoo so that’s the first reason I stopped. Then I read what her tattoo said.
“Walk in the Light”
And I felt relief. I was reminded instantly that I could let go of all this stagnant, leftover energy I was carrying around; most of it not even mine.
We are so affected by our energy, other people’s energy, our reaction to others’ energy that it’s easy to lose your way. I want to be someone who walks in the light and encourages you to be in your light. (Remember, I am an encourager not a complainer, these days)
But we all forget that we are powerful; likely more powerful than we imagine.
This week, I am so thankful for what seemed to be a bargain-basement sign on Instagram. I was redirected back to the right path of light and refocused on being a source of positivity (OK with a little dash of sarcasm).
Sunshine & Sarcasm,
