As you read yesterday in our blog, it’s been a tough week for our family. And with that our family, like most, rallies. Of course, when our family rallies to a hospital room we have exceeded the fire code! It’s a scene to say the least. There is a lot of stress and nerves are frayed.
Living, loving and laughing are not part of the backdrop these days, only surviving.
But, you can only live in survival mode for so long before you break. Our life lesson this week at Lowi and G is to walk outside and breathe in the change of scenery. Breathe in a fresh perspective. Breathe life into your lungs. Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. Hug someone you love. If someone says something funny…laugh. In our family, sarcasm is a second language so even if we aren’t saying it, we are probably thinking it. Let it out and laugh.
So, this week no matter what is going on, and no matter how dire the situation, take some time to live, love and laugh. Especially, laugh…I’ve heard it’s the best medicine.
