As I sat down to write about inspiration in this month of abundance, gratitude and Thanksgiving I immediately thought of our closest friends. Tomorrow, they are celebrating their retirement from the Air Force after a long and distinguished career.

We met this fabulous family a little more than half way through their career and I don’t know what we did before we met them. This is a family that has left their mark every time they moved to a new city and Colorado Springs is no exception. Their love for life, their hard work, their generosity, and their smiles are infectious. They make everything from school functions to dinner out an event.

It has truly be an honor and a privilege to know this family over the last 14 years and we love that they have become part of our family.
