It’s only fitting that we should reach our 100th day of happiness on a Thankful Thursday. We are so thankful for those of you who chose to post your happiness each day right along with us.  The idea was to inspire ourselves, and you, to find the joy in each and every day.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I got to the end of my day and realized I didn’t have a photo.  In fact, I actually had a lot of moments that I didn’t photograph because…well, I just didn’t think about it. The other night, for example, we spent a beautiful Colorado evening under the stars with some of our oldest and dearest friends.  It was absolutely perfect in every way and I don’t have a single photo.  Once again I found myself asking, “why didn’t I take a picture?”  You know what though? It’s right where it needs to be, which is tucked right into my soul and my memories.
I did take 100 photos though and when I look back over these last 100 days I can’t help but smile.  In almost every photo I see joy, calm, gratitude, peace, love and friendship.  I know how fortunate I am and I don’t take it for granted.  I know too many friends and family who have not had 100 days of joy. They may have felt gratitude for their life, their family or friends, but joy was hard to come by. To me that is even more reason to relish in the smiles and the laughter.  Respect your life and the life of those around you by showing up, living your life to the fullest and always be grateful.
