Day #2 Savor Life & Thankful for connections

This week I ran into friend I haven’t seen in quite some time. It’s funny because I see moments of her life on FB and we “like” and comment on one another’s posts, but I don’t really know what is going on with her.

Two things struck me during our conversation. One, it really was great to see her in person and make a real connection. The second thing was how positive she was. She smiled, she laughed; she just had a great vibe about her. She was on a work break and I was on a mission or I might have just asked if she wanted to go have coffee.   As I walked away, I too, was smiling. I don’t always get that with the people I am “connecting” with on social media.

So, today I am grateful for unexpected connection, positive moments and taking the time to be present and savor life.
