I don’t know if you all have been waiting for this but I think I have. I am ready for a Lowi (Pocahontas) update on her Insanity Yogini adventure!
Mission Impossible? Pocahontas
Last week I introduced you to my mission to become Pocahontas. I will give you my Pocahontas Progress Report here on Tuesdays.
So, I have had about 2 weeks with Shaun T. and the master yogini. What I can say is that Insanity is tough, but it’s getting…more manageable (some days). While Yogini does not have the cardio aspect, it still kicks my butt. There is nothing like having done 40 minutes of muscle-shaking exercises mixed with yoga to then have to do planks into push up into downward dog and repeat, to push you over the edge.
In addition to the videos, I have also walked, run, done push-ups, crunches, squats and have I mentioned this takes a lot of time? Geez, who knew becoming Pocahontas was going to be a full-time job!
So, has anything happened yet? Have I dropped 10 pounds in 2 weeks or noticed anything that resembles a move closer to Pocahontas?
Hmmm. I was able to get my hair into two braids!
Stay tuned for more Pocahontas updates weekly…
And the gardening… yes the Barton Family Urban Gardening Adventure continues. I don’t know if it is going to be successful. So far we have planted beets from seeds and these are the sprouts that we hope will become an actual vegetable.
And then we bought some plants already started to see if we could keep them alive long enough to accomplish anything. We have Basil, Parsley, Cilantro, Mint and just added on Thursday: Celery!
We are continuing on with our 100 days of happiness. Today is Day 23. We are having fun seeing some of the photos you are sharing but we’d love to see MORE!.
