You know it takes a really good friend to run a marathon with you, but it takes a REALLY, REALLY good friend to want to run a second one with you!  For #TBT, thanks to our really, really good friends!

Here is G and Mary at their first Marathon back in 2002.  This was the Columbus Marathon and I came to cheer them on.  Why wasn’t I running?  Oh, after I committed to running, I managed to get myself knocked up with baby #3.  So, I had to wait a couple more years before I could get my first marathon on the books.

Two years later, in 2004, I ran The Discovery Trail  Marathon in Colorado Springs with my good friend, Elayna.
