Deepest Gratitude

We have hosted two bridal showers, two weddings, and now a baby shower, and every time, our family has shown up in big ways. To be clear, I don’t just mean their presence.  I mean, they arrive like no time has passed…

Oldest One in the Bar

I told her about my newfound knowledge, and she laughed, but looked around to try and debunk my status. She couldn’t deny it, but I knew she would keep looking.

Fall Travels

We had a gorgeous drive through the mountains. The air was crisp, and the leaves were all changing colors.  I was driving the mobile office for Andy as he worked on his laptop and did conference calls, so I’m not sure he enjoyed it as much as I did.

The DNA is Strong

A few years back, a friend of my daughter’s approached G at a wedding and asked if she was my sister. She told them she was indeed, which elicited the response, “I knew it.  The DNA is strong.”

Big News!

They were stone-cold normal. They gave nothing away. Not the hint of a secret brewing under her sweatshirt.

Quirks and All

And then they took us to church with their song, On My Knees. Honestly, I felt like I was at a revival rather than a rock concert at that point, and I’m not going to lie, it felt exactly right.
