100 Days of Happiness is about finding perspective and being grateful. We aren’t going to be grateful for everything that comes our way, but most days we can choose to see things in another light. Most things that come our way we can deal with and usually after the dust settles we realize it was nothing more than a minor inconvenience. These are the things that give us perspective if we are looking.
We all have a tendency to look at our neighbors, social media or even our 100 Days of Happiness and think that everyone else’s life is full of sunshine. It’s not. Everyone is dealing with something. We probably all know someone who is dealing with cancer or has a loved one who is going through a hard time. Usually these are the people who have the brightest outlook on life. Why do you think that is? They choose to see things in a different light. They choose not to live in the darkness, but the light.
Today let’s choose to see our own situations in a different light.
