100 days of happiness was intended to be fun. A practice in looking for what’s right in each day. After nine days, already I am amazed with how it does change you or at least your outlook.
On Saturday, I didn’t have a bad day, I just had a neutral day. I worked in my parents’ yard and headed home around 5 p.m. I was tired and sore but I felt good about what I’d accomplished.
I remembered I hadn’t posted my 100 days of happiness photo for the day and I began “searching” for my happy photo. In no time, I found the photo in my own house. As William Arthur Ward said “happiness is an inside job.” That’s probably not exactly what he was referring to but you get my drift.

Then a couple days later I realized I was judging happy. I was putting it in a very small box. Why couldn’t I have posted a photo of a half-done flower bed and let that be enough?
I could have been happy, contented that I worked hard, and did what I could in service of another. All that learning in 9 days, I can only imagine what will happen in 91 more days.
We hope you’ll join us.
